This week we have been learning all about Bears! Did you know there are actually 8 main species of bears in the world…. Well Holly Class do! We have learn’t about Brown bears, Panda Bears, American Black  Bears, Asiatic Black bears, Spectacle bears, Sloth bears, Polar bears and Sun Bears. It has been lots of fun learning how to research and find out lots of interesting facts. Such as did you know sloth bears eat termites and suck them out of a hole in the ground! Also Panda bears eat for up to 12 hours a day! Paddington bear is a spectacle bear! Also Polar bears skin is actually Black! We know lots more too just ask us! As usual we have tried to make our learning fun and interactive making dens, doing news reports, playing matching games, labelling bear pictures and much much more. All helping us to prepare for writing a bear fact book next week! We are going to be bear experts in Holly Class – watch out David Attenborough!
