Sports Premium

In school there is additional funding  to improve provision of PE and sport. This funding is provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport. This money is protected and can only be spent on sport.

Alongside the obvious health benefits of sport at Broomhill we believe that regular participation in sport and physical activity develops character, creates a sense of belonging, and supports building personal resilience.

Schools must spend the additional funding on improving their provision of PE and sport, but have the freedom to choose how they do this. Please see below for information regarding how sports premium funding  is being spent.
