Pupil Premium
In 2011 the government introduced funding for schools called Pupil Premium to support the progress of vulnerable groups. The funding is paid directly to the school and the amount received is based on the number of children who receive free school meals, are in care and those with parents in the armed forces.
At Broomhill Infant School we believe that every child is entitled to the very best education and we have high aspirations for all. As a Nursery and Infant school we strive to ensure a fantastic start to every child’s lifelong journey of learning and discovery. We continuously monitor the progress of every pupil ensuring that every child is being supported and challenged to reach their full potential.
The school is held accountable for how they spend the additional funding. Please see below for information regarding how the pupil premium funding is being spent.
