This week we have been Scientists. We undertook an experiment to test how far a car toy would travel on different surfaces. First, we predicted which surface we thought would allow the car to travel the furthest distance and then the shortest. We also discussed our reasons for choosing these predictions.

Next, in small groups, we pushed a small toy car down a wooden ramp onto a range of surfaces to test how far they would travel. The different surfaces we tested were artificial grass, wooden floor, cardboard and carpet. Unfortunately, due to the weather, we’ve still got to finish completing our experiment on concrete. We can’t wait to share our findings with you!
