ASPIRATIONS DAY!

On Wednesday the children were invited to dress up as who they wanted to be when they are older. In Fir class, we had three police officers, three rockstars, two teachers, two kings, two builders, one scientist, one footballer, one author one head chef, one game creator, and one nurse.

What a talented bunch we have in Fir class!

FIRE BRIGADE VISIT

On Tuesday we had a visit from Hicks Gate Fire Service who taught us all about fire safety and how to STOP, DROP and ROLL! We listened to a story about Berta the Firefly and even had a look around a fire engine and were shown all of the special tools and equipment firefighters use to help rescue people. It was so much fun!

On Friday we wrote a recount of our fire brigade experience and used sequencing words like ‘First, Next and Finally’ to order the different parts of the session.
