This week in Holly class the children have been learning about the different animal groups. They learnt about animals that would live in the Amazon in Brazil and animals from Eastwood farm and which animal group they fit in to. Are they mammals, amphibians, fish, reptiles, birds or insects? The children also enjoyed using watercolours to create Brazilian animals in their independent learning.

In Maths, we have been counting in 2s , 5s and 10s and making the numbers using resources. The children also used a Splat Square to find multiples of 2s, 5s and 10s. Some amazing Mathematicians!

In P.E we have been focusing on bending and stretching! The children began by making the smallest, widest and tallest shapes they could and then we played games which practised these movements and positions.
