We had our WOW day to introduce our new Talk 4 Writing story Owl Babies. An animal left us a feather in Cherry Class so we discussed which animal it might have come from. We then followed the clues into the forest, ensuring we were walking in the right direction by looking at the arrows. We found some owls in the forest along with our new story! We read the story and then spent the day engaging in lots of different activities. We made bird feeders and hung them outside, we made chocolate nests for our owls, we created owl masks and used it in our role play. Some of us enjoyed making leaf owls and owl puppets too!
