Bedtime Stories

We had a great time coming back into school in our pyjamas for lots of lovely stories on Wednesday! We listened to brilliant storybooks with Miss Stephanie and Miss Dickson in front of a log fire (super cosy!), shared our favourite books (which Miss Dickson loved…), we had hot chocolate and biscuits and had a special guest appearance from Miss W.

We all very much enjoyed ourselves!

Designers

We have been designers in Fir Class this week practising different attachment techniques ready for next weeks Tinkering Tuesday! We made lots of different attachment techniques such as a flange, slot, L brace, tabs and lots more. The children were amazing and worked super hard. I know next weeks Tinkering Tuesday is going to be awesome with all these clever designers in Fir Class!

Children in Need

On Friday we were fundraising for Children in Need. The children kindly donated lots of money and were able to dress up in non-uniform and design a bandana for Pudsey bear! We took part in a range of activities such as Joe Wicks’ exercise video, a Children in Need quiz hosted by Miss W, designing a bandana for Pudsey bear, Children in Need bookmarks and lots more.

The children were all very thoughtful and empathetic towards the reasons why we raise money for Children in need. You all made me super proud to be your teacher, well done Fir Class!! ?
